European beds are sized by the mattress: 140, 160 and 180 cm wide, 200 cm long. The frame adds more than most people expect.

Measure the frame

An upholstered frame with a tall headboard can add 10 to 15 cm to the width and up to 20 cm to the length. Always check the full outside dimensions on the product page.
